The Manager of Projects

About the role

 

Our Project Managers are insanely talented and driven to manage interactive projects from inception to implementation. You will work closely with project teams, account leads and our clients to efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources across multiple projects. You can be counted on to manage client expectations, schedules, budgets, assets and scopes while having a keen understanding of when to escalate support needs. Organization, attention to detail, and consistency in delivery are what drives you – and in any situation, you strive to deliver projects on-time and within budget, understanding that our clients' success is our success.

What you bring to the table

  • Must have 2+ years of digital project management experience. You are confident and comfortable with basic interactive projects and are excited to take direction and learn new skills quickly.

  • Ideally, you have 2+ years' experience in a project management role leading Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Order Management, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Mulesoft implementations. Other applicable eCommerce and/or Order Management experience is also desirable but not required.

  • A familiarity with Google apps or other collaboration tools, as well as one or more project management systems (e.g. Jira, Smartsheet, Monday).

  • Experience using traditional project management methodologies (such as those promoted by PMI). Related experience should include schedule building, budget tracking, stakeholder communication and other related activities.

  • Familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies. Experience using these methodologies to manage projects or teams is a plus.

  • An interest in digital products and experiences, and a curiosity about the technologies used to build them.
    The ability to guide internal teams from project kickoff to completion.

  • An ability to motivate, support and understand your teams. You can easily work with everyone–from visual designers to tech developers to content strategists.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills. You must be able to clearly communicate the goals of the client and the ideas behind our solutions.

 
 

Key responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project management for RunDTC's portfolio of client assignments, including but not limited to: website builds and optimization, interactive tools, custom solutions builds, site UX and visual design services.

  • Collaborate with project management and account leads to develop project strategies and plans, and identify the methods and tools required for each project.

  • Develop timelines, monitoring progress and updating stakeholders on project status.

  • Identify and communicate how decisions or changes could affect priority, scope and timeline to clients and internal teams.

  • Identify potential risks of roadblocks and act proactively to resolve issues.

  • Monitor progress and budget against plan.

  • Contribute content and documentation for internal and client meetings, ensuring key decisions and action items are clearly communicated.

  • Communicate across teams and ensure all members are aware of delegated tasks.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to balance workloads and prioritize requests for engineering, content management, strategy and many others. 

  • Drive project delivery to be on-time and on-budget while ensuring quality standards are met.

 
 

Working location

  • Expectation to work remotely, from your home office or a shared working space, with occasional travel to client locations.
