About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Account Executive to join our growing team. As an Account Executive at RunDTC, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing opportunities within those relationships, and closing new business. Your day-to-day will consist of developing new business relationships through sourcing new opportunities via partners, the network, and direct outreach to high-value targets. You will work closely with our Chief Growth Officer and cross-functional teams to develop & nurture leads, convert to opportunities, meet with prospective clients, understand business needs, then scope and sell the appropriate Commerce solutions & services that will help meet the client’s business goals. Key responsibilities

Leveraging various data sources, AI tooling and team network connections, conduct direct outreach to high-value targets via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate net new opportunities for RunDTC services.

Lead opportunities through the sales cycle, including requirements gathering, scoping, demos, technical discussions, and proposal development & presentations. Incorporate the appropriate RunDTC team members throughout to support the sales process.

Prepare and deliver client presentations to provide overview & value of RunDTC, our solution offerings and any proposals for client-specific work.

Work with cross-functional team members to assist in the preparation of solution scoping, proposals, and related presentations.

Attend conferences, trade shows, regional dinners & events, and other to establish new connections, develop new leads, and drive RunDTC brand awareness.

Collaborate with the RunDTC Marketing team for any targeted, outbound campaigns to drive new opportunities within target lists.

Manage opportunities within CRM by updating data throughout the sales cycle; appropriate forecasting of opportunities for reporting to the Chief Growth Officer.

Close net new opportunities

Stay current with the eCommerce ecosystem, trends, partners, technologies and other.
What you bring to the table

2 - 5+ years of experience in services sales within the Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce ecosystem, with a strong track record of closing business & exceeding goals.

Self-motivated, resiliency, drive, eager to learn, and a strong desire to win.

Deep understanding of a multi-channel environment including ecommerce, marketplaces, wholesale and retail.

Experience in hunting new logos, and various outbound prospecting tools and tactics

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple competing priorities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
